My Own Music
Σαν Γοργονα [Like a Mermaid] *
It was my love for the natural beauty of the Aegean Sea that made me write this song. It can be found on the CD "Σαν Ανατολη" ("Like a Sunrise"). Yiannis Bousekas sings this piece on his own CD of music of the Aegean. The recording was done in Chios by Yiannis Stogiannos. The music and lyrics were composed by Lefteris Tsilimos.

Playing in Greece: 2008
This summer the band will be comprised of Yianni Lignos, clarinet; Lefteris Tsilimos, bouzouki; Stergios Neamonitakis, vocals; Aki Kalivas, synthesizer/organ; Michalis Voukounas, drums. Special guests will include Patra Neamonitaki and Vassili Patriki.

Greeks from all over the world come to Chios for these events to celebrate their traditions and their heritage. Our nights are filled with music. If we are not playing a gig we will probably be playing at a Taverna or at the beach, with friends, nice meze and ouzo, bouzouki, singing together in the breeze of the Aegean Sea. The combination of good music, good people and tradition can keep our music going for three days (as in Viki)!

Playing in the U.S.
In the United States, I have played in clubs, in weddings and private parties. I am a freelance musician but I also have the Panorama Orchestra with full entertainment (DJ Stamatis). My experiences here have given me the opportunity to play in many States with musicians of different nationalities and from all over Greece.
I enjoy being a part of some of the best moments in people's lives by playing at their celebrations and parties.
